The water on the entrance of the cave was about 27 ft. (the deepest part of the river). It was formerly known as "The Bat Cave" for bats are inhabiting the place until now. The brownish portions on the rocks are the poops and urine of the bats. They smell so bad. There were Tarantulas on the sides that's why we always make sure to keep track staying in the middle. It was creepy inside that I put my earphones to relax myself a bit.
It was a mythical experience. Different figures were formed like the mushroom rock, the three kings rock, hotdog rock and so many more. You'll be in awe when you're there. It leaves you breathless and amazed at its beauty.
The boatman showed us an image of a cat on a wall. It looks like it has been painted but it wasn't. Bats were flying around. Tiny drops of water were dropping from above. "Bat noises" filled the place. The atmosphere was breezy. You can feel the beauty of nature.
Sadly, we weren't allowed to go further because the farther part was preserved. So only researchers have been there. The rocks in those parts are very delicate because they're sparkling and if you'll touch it, it'll lose its sparkle.
Being there made me really proud that I am a Filipino. Filipinos are blessed to have the Underground River as one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
